What this service covers
A&A work is rarely about the structure alone. It is about hacking, forming and pouring next to tenants, neighbours and live services without shutting the building down — and satisfying the Qualified Person and BCA along the way.
We plan A&A projects backwards from the constraints: permitted working hours, noise and dust control, access and hoisting routes, temporary propping, and the sequencing of structural alterations. The programme is then built around what the building can actually tolerate.
Because reinforced concrete is our core trade, the structural half of an A&A job is not subcontracted out and is not the part that surprises us.
